Bringing you wise words, a warm embrace, and travel jaunts to keep you windswept and sun kissed.

Welcome to the Rolling with Stephanie Hunt newsletter.

A very sunny hello to you. I’m an international journalist, producer, news boss and mum.

In my 20 years in the media industry I’ve produced everything from interviews with the Dalai Lama and the Foo Fighters to a Royal Wedding and the Winter Olympics.

I’ve called the shots and directed teams of journalists, producers and presenters during my time at Network Seven, Al Jazeera and the BBC.

I host (and create) the And We’re Rolling podcast.

I’m also a travel nut.

The thought of finding our voice and facing our fears (speaking in public or on camera, anyone?) can be terrifying! I know the feeling. Which is why I started the And We’re Rolling podcast. It was a great excuse to chat with the world’s best women presenters, foreign correspondents, leaders and performers to learn what scares them the most, their secret tips and tricks and how they find the grit to do it anyway.

Along with highlights from my chats with these incredible women, this newsletter also has a flavour of adventure - mostly in the form of spicy travel locations.

I’ve produced TV content in Mongolia and Bangladesh with World Vision and the Solomon Islands with UNICEF. In August 2019, I delivered a TEDx talk on the lessons I learnt from camping with remote African tribes. I’ve presented a travel safety video series in Colombia for worldnomads.com. I’m prepping my next big trip.

And in case you don’t know, I was born in Gunnedah, New South Wales, and grew up in Armidale. I now live in Sydney with my husband and two young girls.

The Rolling newsletter brings you wise words, a warm embrace and the ultimate travel escapades to leave you feeling windswept and sun kissed.

I hope you enjoy it all.
